Op 2 februari 2016 vond de oplevering van het dak van het hoofdgebouw en van de Louis Brailleschool plaats. De donoren: Kansfonds, Quota International, Lions Clubs Para en Felice, Stichting Bethesda Suriname Nederland, Stichting Curiel Sibelo en familie de Noten, waren hierbij aanwezig.
